PACASMAYO - PERU
Pacasmayo is a city rich in ancient culture. Inhabited for over 10,000 years by groups of people who gather their food from the sea. Region with immense variety of seafood.
Since the end of the 20th century, the breakwater area, El Faro (The Lighthouse), has been considered the “biggest and longest navigable wave in the world” and has gained popularity among water sports fans. On this beach you can practice surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, SUP and foil, which promotes the growth of foreign visitors who come from different parts of the world to enjoy these waves and wind.
The average water temperature during the experiment period is 20⁰C | 68 ⁰F. We recommend using a 3.2mm wetsuit.
The average wind speed in the period is 17 to 25 knots and the waves range from 1 to 2m in height.
We chose the period for this experiment as it offers an interesting combination of wind speed and wave size. Favoring the practice of Surf, SUP and Foil in the morning and Kite in the afternoon. Guaranteed fun for all water sports lovers!
