The average water temperature during the experience is 20⁰C | 68⁰F. We recommend a 3.2mm wetsuit.

The average wind speed during the period is 17 to 25 knots, and the waves range from 1 to 2 meters in height.

We chose this timeframe because it offers an ideal combination of wind speed and wave size — perfect for surfing, SUP, and foil in the morning, and kiting in the afternoon. Guaranteed fun for all water sports lovers!

Our base will be El Faro Adventure Resort, strategically located right in front of the main break.
The resort offers comfort, full structure, and a vibe entirely focused on the sport and connection between riders.

TWO CONSECUTIVE WEEKS – CHOOSE YOUR JOURNEY

In 2026, the Pacasmayo Kite Experience will take place over two consecutive weeks, allowing for different levels of immersion:

May 9 to 15 – Ideal week for those experiencing Pacasmayo for the first time or optimizing vacation time
May 16 to 23 – Perfect continuation to deepen technique and wave reading
Option to join both weeks for a more complete experience

Each week will have its own dynamics, balanced groups, and close support.

COACHING

Coaching will be led by Sebastian Ribeiro, an international reference in kitewave.

With extensive experience in Pacasmayo, Sebastian leads the coaching in a progressive and strategic way, respecting each guest’s individual level and encouraging solid, conscious, and safe evolution.

The focus goes far beyond maneuvers:

All of this combined with video analysis, allowing for clear, visual, and objective evolution.
