Pacasmayo is synonymous with long, technical, and consistent waves. A legendary destination sought after by professional athletes, coaches, and experienced riders from all over the world.

The conditions are unique:

Extremely long left-hand waves
Perfect side-off wind for kitewave
Near-daily frequency of epic sessions

It’s the kind of place that accelerates the progression of experienced riders and completely transforms the perspective of those who seek to truly understand the ocean.

The average water temperature during the experience period is 20⁰C | 68⁰F. We recommend using a 3.2mm wetsuit.

The average wind speed during this period is between 17 and 25 knots, and wave height ranges from 1 to 2 meters.

We chose this timeframe because it offers an ideal combination of wind speed and wave size, favoring Surf, SUP, and Foil in the morning, and Kitesurfing in the afternoon. Guaranteed fun for all water sports lovers!

EL FARO ADVENTURE RESORT

Our base will be the El Faro Adventure Resort, strategically located directly in front of the main break.
The resort offers comfort, full infrastructure, and an atmosphere entirely focused on sport and rider interaction. Here, everything revolves around the wind, the waves, and the experience.
Waking up, checking the ocean, reading the sets, and getting in the water is part of the daily routine.

TWO CONSECUTIVE WEEKS – CHOOSE YOUR JOURNEY

In 2026, the Pacasmayo Kite Experience will take place over two consecutive weeks, allowing for different levels of immersion:

May 9 to 15 – Ideal week for those experiencing Pacasmayo for the first time or optimizing vacation time
May 16 to 23 – The perfect continuation to deepen technique and wave reading
Option to join both weeks for an even more complete experience

Each week will have its own dynamic, balanced groups, and close guidance.

COACHING

The coaching will be led by Sebastian Ribeiro, an international reference in kitewave.

With extensive experience in Pacasmayo, Sebastian conducts coaching in a progressive and strategic way, respecting each guest’s individual level and encouraging solid, conscious, and safe progression.

The focus goes far beyond maneuvers:
