In this week, we officially dive into the world of kitewave.
Taíba Wave Camp I is designed for intermediate and advanced riders who are already autonomous in kite control and want to progress in the ocean, improving wave reading, consistency, and flow.

Taíba is one of the most complete and versatile kitesurfing destinations in Brazil. A place where steady winds, consistent waves, and flat lagoons coexist in perfect harmony, enabling real progression for different levels of riders.
The Taíba Kite Camp is carefully designed to be a foundation of learning and transition, welcoming everyone from beginners to those taking their first steps into kitewave with safety, technique, and confidence.
TAÍBA - CEARÁ - BRAZIL
Taíba Beach is located 75 km from Fortaleza and about 40 km from Cumbuco Beach. A picturesque town with easy access and delightful surprises.
The region has grown significantly with the arrival of European immigrants and is now home to a French-descendant community, bringing a unique culinary experience.
Taibinha Beach is famous for surfing. The right-hand waves form uniquely due to the rock bottom, which also benefits kitewave as the wind hits the wave side-on. It's considered one of the best wave spots in northeast Brazil.
The main highlight is Taíba Lagoon, known for stronger and more consistent winds than other regional lagoons. The vast lagoon accommodates all levels and styles—from freeride to strapless freestyle—and even has deeper sections ideal for foil and wing foil. Here you can have your first kite contact or watch professional athletes putting on a show.
THE EXPERIENCE
The Taíba Kite Camp is a week designed to build a solid foundation, respecting each guest’s pace and level.
Throughout the week, we work on:
Correct positioning on the outside
Wave selection
Timing for entry and exit
Efficient kite use on the wave line
Safety in different conditions
The coaching is technical, practical, and strategic, with ocean sessions and video analysis, allowing for fine adjustments and real progression throughout the week.
This is where many guests make the leap from freeride to kitewave.
COACHING
The coaching is led by Sebastian Ribeiro, a national and international kitewave reference.
With a didactic, clear, and personalized approach, Sebastian guides guests from fundamentals to first challenges in the ocean, always focusing on:
Safety
Wind and ocean reading
Kite control
Posture, timing, and confidence
This week is essential for those seeking consistent evolution, preparing body and mind for more intense upcoming experiences.

Our base will be a beachfront mansion, located in one of the best sections of Taibinha.
